Xaliar Turnaround Sheet 2023

With this turnaround sheet, I wanted to capture the fantasy and angelic elements of the Aasimar race from D&D while also capturing religious elements. I based the headdress off of bishops hats in both real life and the chess pieces. I liked the idea of the character’s devotion to their god being tied into blindness, and then using direction from faith to see. Xaliar is a peacekeeper, so I wanted them to feel distinctly unlike a warrior.
