Kel Argova Wraith Beastiary 2023

This is a breakdown sheet of the anatomy of a demon from the Wraith world. I wanted to create a demon that felt aggressive and strong, but that also retained some beauty in the color and texture. I combined traits from a praying mantis, frilled neck lizard, and armadillo lizard to create a demon that felt new. Because the creature is so large, it couldn’t function with an exoskeleton like the praying mantis, so I had to try to imagine what the skeletal and muscular system would look like for that shape. Although its obviously not a realistic creature, I tried to stay as accurate as I could.
